START WITH THE SYMPTOM
Let’s work
through the checks.
One symptom, a short sequence and a way to reach a person. No settings commands or passwords needed.
No report
- Check the service status before changing anything.
- Check the tracker power and the normal battery-isolator arrangement.
- Return to an accessible fitting point and check contact separately from position.
Old position
- Read the position time and last-contact time separately.
- A recent mobile connection does not prove a new satellite fix.
- Try the placement check with the cabin closed. Keep the original report times.
Battery low
- Use the supplied lead and confirmed instructions.
- Review the charging routine and reporting profile. Runtime is to be confirmed in testing.
- For hardwired units, ask the installer to check the protected supply and low-voltage behaviour.
Wrong place on the map
- Check the boat and tracker identity first.
- Read the original fix time. Do not treat an old position as a current location.
- Keep evidence together and contact support rather than repeatedly changing device settings.
No test alert
- Check the recipient and channel verification.
- Check queued, sent and delivered states separately.
- Do not tick a recipient as tested without a confirmed delivery result.
Support forms in this review are examples. No real case or message is sent. The production support channel and response arrangements must be confirmed before shipping.
