BOATTRACKER / PADDLESPORTS

Small craft.
A clear tracking plan.

A small rechargeable tracker in a drybag secured to the craft. Prepared SIM, private access and a charging routine, under evaluation.

SMALL-CRAFT PILOT

Leave the wiring ashore.

A compact rechargeable tracker sits inside a suitable drybag. Secure the bag to the kayak or canoe, keep charging access practical and check reports before setting off.

How the drybag setup works

Keep the tracker inside the closed drybag and secure the bag to the canoe or kayak. Test reception with the bag closed before setting out.

FOLLOW THE WHOLE ROUTINE

Before, during
and back ashore.

01

Before the paddle

Charge, secure the drybag, check a new contact and position, then review any named sharing and expiry.

02

During the trip

Keep report age visible. Mobile gaps and sleep settings affect updates. An old point stays labelled as an old point.

03

After returning

End the trip sharing, inspect and dry the equipment as instructed, then recharge away from water.

For hire operators

Kayak and canoe fleets belong in PayCamp Hire. Test charging turnaround, device-to-craft assignment, handover and missing reports. Trackers support asset visibility, without assuming each customer is beside the device.

Is a small tracker ready to buy?+

TK913 4G is the compact candidate. The exact UK radio variant, independent server access, SIM messaging and drybag performance need physical testing. There is no small-craft checkout yet.

What will the service cost?+

Small-craft hardware, drybag and included-service pricing are unconfirmed. The Founding 20 proposal is separate from any future small-craft offer. Current amounts are provisional.

Will a closed drybag affect reception?+

Test the actual bag, contents, orientation and mounting position. A successful report with the bag open does not prove the closed setup works.
