BOATTRACKER / PADDLESPORTS

Pack. Secure.
Test before paddling.

A practical proposed routine for the tracker, closed drybag, charging and named shore contact.

01

Match the exact kit

Confirm model, radio variant, charging instructions and supported profile. This candidate guide is a design, not the final supplied instructions.

02

Choose and secure the drybag

Use a suitable intact bag. Secure the bag to the craft with an appropriate attachment, avoiding snag and entanglement hazards. A loose bag or magnet alone is not the proposed fitting method.

03

Test with everything closed

Place the tracker above the waterline with practical sky visibility. Close the bag with normal contents inside. Prove a new position and a new server contact at the actual fitting point.

04

Set a reporting and charging routine

Choose a tested profile. Show the effect on report age and expected charging. Do not substitute maximum standby figures for measured active use. Charge only as directed, away from water.

05

Review the shore contact

Invite a named person, select current-position access or a specific history scope, set expiry and verify acceptance. An alert contact does not silently receive map access.

06

Check the limits together

Review offline, stale-position and low-battery examples. End sharing after return. The tracker follows the device, without proving the paddler is beside the craft.
