Testing an alert recipient
A recorded event, a sent message and a received alert are separate checks.

Choose a person
Choose a verified recipient and the intended channel. Receiving an alert does not automatically grant access to a map or past journeys.
Test the whole route
The planned setup checks a controlled event from the correct tracker, a matching delivery result and confirmation from the intended recipient.
Check anything missing
Do not treat silence as success. If a recipient, device report or delivery result is missing, return to that check. Physical end-to-end alert tests have not yet been completed.
