Start with a practical sky view
Review a dry position near a cabin window, suitable non-metal hatch or stern doors. Protect the tracker from moisture and accidental movement.
Avoid a hidden first fit
Do not begin deep inside an engine space or enclosed against steel. Nearby metal, covered areas and solar panels need a real report test.
Secure it safely
Choose a suitable mount for the exact unit. Keep covers, charging access, ventilation and escape routes clear. A magnetic case does not prove a safe mount.
