Battery use
Battery days and reporting settings are to be confirmed in testing. Plan access for charging rather than relying on an untested standby claim.
Hardwire option
The ordered kit includes low-voltage protection. Its actual input range, cut-off behaviour, wiring, fuse and tracker compatibility need confirmation on the supplied hardware.
Which battery and isolator?
Ask a competent marine electrician to agree the supply, circuit protection and isolation arrangement. Do not bypass electrical protection to keep a tracker running.
Leaving the boat for weeks
Consider the whole boat’s charging and battery arrangements, winter conditions and the agreed reporting profile. A tracker voltage report is not a battery health assessment.
